On July 4, LIXIL launched a collaborative campaign with the Moomins, “Learn from the Moomins to Live with Nature. Sustainable Life”.
The idea is to consider the Earth’s problems from the perspective of the “Moomins,” whose characters are depicted as embracing diversity and coexisting with nature without resisting the environment.
The “LIXIL x SDGs NEXT STAGE” Instagram account will be posting hints for “sustainable living” and a giveaway campaign will be held from August 1 to 31. By following the account and “liking” the posts, 150 people will be selected by drawing to win an original gray eco-bag.
In addition, Moomin Valley Park, a theme park in Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture, will hold a strolling rally from July 22 to August 9 to find correct answers to a quiz about the Moomins and SDGs. If you answer the quiz, 200 people will be selected in a drawing to receive an original blue eco-bag. In addition, a workshop to learn the importance of water will be held from August 5 to 6 as part of the “Hemlens Academy,” an educational project. Participants will receive a “commemorative badge” and an original blue eco-bag, which are not for sale.
