Logos, car-connectable shelter with air pump for 70-second setup. Also available as a high performance tarp.

Posted on 2023-07-16 by Editor in Chief

Logos Corporation, which develops the outdoor brand “LOGOS,” has released the Tradcanvas Air Magic Carside Room, an air-tube shelter. It is priced at ¥108,000.

This large air-tube tent can be set up in about 70 seconds simply by filling it with air. It can be connected to a vehicle for overnight stays in a car, and can also be used as a stand-alone tarp. A convenient storage bag is included to carry the tent itself and the dedicated pump.

To assemble, simply inflate with the included special pump. The structure allows even beginners to easily handle the frame without any complicated assembly. The combination of the air tube frame and reinforcing bars provides excellent wind resistance and sufficient strength. Removal is as easy as removing the air.

When staying overnight in a car, the tent can be connected to a large minivan from the rear seat side, and to a small car or light van from the rear of the car up to approximately 185 cm in height. The gusseted roof adheres closely to the vehicle body, allowing the tent to come and go between the interior of the car and the tent without getting wet in the rain. The tent can be connected to even taller vehicles, such as the Hiace, because it has a ladder joint that allows the position of the pegs to be adjusted so that the height of the tent can be changed to match the height of the vehicle.

It can also stand on its own, so it can be used as a screen tarp in place of a roof. The canopy can also be extended by using the attached poles. The sides have windows made of “Devilblock ST,” a unique high-performance mesh with high UV-blocking and light-shielding properties, and the fine mesh material prevents even the smallest insects from entering. The flaps on both sides can be flipped up to provide ventilation while blocking rainwater and sunlight.

A present campaign is also being conducted on the official Logos Twitter (@Enjoy_Outing) until 23:59 on July 9. One lucky winner will win a Tradcanvas Air Magic Carside Room by drawing among those who follow the official account and retweet eligible tweets.
