Universal Studios Japan will continue to hold live shows featuring characters from the popular comic “ONE PIECE” in 2023.

The overwhelming quality and scale of the show have made it popular since its inception in 2007, with total attendance exceeding 1.5 million people. This year, the show will be presented as “ONE PIECE PREMIERE SHOW 2023” with even more power. The show will be held from July 5 to October 10.

The performance was opened to invited guests and the press prior to the start of the show, so here is an overview. The song performed by Brook is a new song provided by Mr. Kohei Tanaka, who has composed many One Piece songs.

The original story begins with Rebecca rushing in to the rested straw crew. The story is that the three princesses, Bibi, Shirahoshi, and Viola, have been detained by the Navy on suspicion of looting, poisoning, and weapons trafficking. Rebecca, who thought this was impossible, asked Luffy and the others for help.

The group embarks on an investigation and is confronted by Ven Vendler, the leader of an organization calling itself the “Black Kingdom. He is determined to confuse and destroy the Straw Hat gang with his astonishing fighting skills and abilities.

The live show featured powerful special lighting and sound effects, as well as flames and water. The numerous characters, both friend and foe, each with their own personal history, were a highlight of the show, which drew applause from the audience who had read the original story.

The breathless storyline makes the 75-minute performance time fly by. During that time, Sanji and Zoro’s “Do you want to do it? Come on! You come here,” “Are you scared?” and “You’re an idiot! The end of this surprising story is a must-see.
