WILLER EXPRESS will operate the Tokyo Restaurant Bus “Japanese Menu Round-Town Tour Course” starting July 29. Reservations are currently being accepted through the “WILLER TRAVEL” reservation site, and the English version of the site will be open from July 11.
This bus tour allows visitors to enjoy an authentic course meal while riding in a restaurant bus with a sense of openness and a transparent, open roof. This will be the first time in three years that a Japanese menu will be offered, and the bus will operate with a renewed driving route and meals.
The route differs for lunch and dinner, and both depart from and arrive at Tokyo Station. The daytime tour will mainly visit Asakusa, the Kaminarimon gate and Sky Tree area, while the nighttime tour will visit major sightseeing spots in Tokyo such as the Shibuya Scramble Crossing, Tokyo Tower, and Rainbow Bridge, each taking approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.
The meal will be an authentic Japanese course meal, with steamed, grilled, and rice dishes served one after the other, starting with appetizers. The main dish will be pork for lunch and beef for dinner, and for the rice dish, freshly made nigirizushi with boiled conger eel. In addition, the dessert course includes “Matcha Blancmange” supervised by “Sushi Ginza Onodera,” and sake and shochu can be ordered from the drink menu.
