Awajiya will release a “Hittappidako flowerpot” in the motif of “Hittappidako-meshi,” a famous ekiben at Nishiakashi Station. The price is 1,680 yen for the set of the pot and saucer.
The ceramic design of the “pulled rice” pot was retained, but the color was changed to an unglazed terra cotta color, and round holes were made in the bottom of the pot to improve water drainage. The size is about the same as a standard flowerpot (No. 3 or 4). It is also recommended for free research during summer vacation.
The company plans to start pre-sales on its official online store at 8:54 p.m. on July 22, and to sell the product in brick-and-mortar stores in late July at a new store scheduled to open in Sannomiya Center-gai.
