Ginza-Wako has announced that the clock tower of SEIKO HOUSE GINZA, a well-known landmark and symbol of Ginza, will be redecorated with a Mickey Mouse design for a limited time.
From October 5 to November 18, the dial will be Mickey Mouse and the hour and minute hands on the clock will change to a design of Mickey’s two hands to tell the time.
This initiative is a program linked to the “Moments of Magic at the Clock Tower” exhibition and sales event commemorating Disney 100, which will start on August 10. 100 people will be selected by drawing to be invited to the rooftop when they purchase 50,000 yen or more of Disney merchandise. The application period is from August 10 to 27 at the event site. The online store will be open from July 24 to August 27.
Ten people will also be invited by lottery by following the official Disney Shopping Twitter page and retweeting the campaign tweet posted on August 18. The application period is from August 8 to 14.
At the invitation event, visitors can enjoy taking commemorative photos with the Mickey Mouse-designed clock tower in the background on the rooftop of Seiko House Ginza, which is not usually open to the public.
