Nikko Hotels International will open Hotel Nikko Changshu on August 1.

Changshu City, located west of Shanghai and adjacent to major cities such as Wuxi and Nantong, has long prospered from its fertile land. Recently, the city has been focusing on attracting foreign companies, especially Japanese companies, and the research and production bases of the world’s top 500 companies, including those in the automotive industry, have established themselves in the city.

Hotel Nikko Changshu is located in the Changshu National High and New Technology Industrial Development Zone, about 6 km south of the city center. It has 288 guest rooms, and the hotel is equipped with a restaurant, indoor swimming pool, conference rooms, and banquet halls. Even within the development zone, the hotel is easily accessible to the outside world, with Changshu Railway Station approximately 25 minutes away by car and downtown Suzhou approximately 30 minutes away by car.

The design of the hotel will incorporate a Japanese feel into a contemporary space, with decorative elements throughout featuring Changshu’s natural motifs. 14 guest rooms, including suites, will feature curvaceous furniture and contemporary artwork. Large ceiling-to-floor windows offer views of Lake Kuncheng. A 55-inch flat-screen TV with domestic and international TV channels and functional bathrooms are also provided.

For long-term guests, there will be 197 serviced apartments in a separate building. There are four types of rooms to choose from, including rooms with electrical appliances and three bedrooms, depending on the number of guests.

Restaurants include the Chinese restaurant “Taoli”, the all-day dining restaurant “Serena”, and the lobby lounge “The Lounge”. At Chinese Restaurant “Taoli”, guests can enjoy Cantonese cuisine using seasonal ingredients and Changshu specialties. The all-day dining restaurant Serena offers international, Japanese, and local cuisine. At the breakfast buffet, guests can watch the chefs at work from the open kitchen. For lunch and dinner, an a la carte menu featuring dishes from around the world and a dining area dedicated to Japanese cuisine are also available.

Until December 31, the hotel is offering a commemorative stay plan exclusively for One Harmony members at RMB666 per room for a deluxe room.
