Mitsui Garden Hotel Ueno renews its hotel, creating a new “Panda Floor” with all panda rooms on one floor.

Posted on 2023-08-01 by Editor in Chief

Mitsui Fudosan and Mitsui Fudosan Hotel Management reopened the “Mitsui Garden Hotel Ueno” (3-19-7 Higashi Ueno, Taito-ku, Tokyo) on July 26. The hotel has 242 guest rooms.

To meet the increasing needs of domestic and international leisure travelers and families, the hotel has added 11 twin-type rooms and 22 rooms that can accommodate triple occupancy with sofa beds.

The standard twin-type guestrooms, which have been converted from double rooms to twin rooms, are designed under the design concept of “Ueno Pop” and incorporate bright colors in the guestrooms.

The Superior Twin, which has been converted from a twin to triple accommodations, has a relaxing atmosphere with the design concept of “Ueno Modern”.

In addition, under the concept of “Ueno no Mori – New Diversity,” the two-story atrium lobby incorporates wood-grain wall surfaces and tree designs inspired by the greenery of Ueno Onshi Park.

The Panda Rooms, which were well received, were created as the Panda Floor. All 20 Panda Rooms are located on one floor, and the corridors are decorated with original panda artwork to express the world view.

Taking advantage of the renovation, all rooms have been made non-smoking, and a new smoking area has been established on the first floor.

And to commemorate the reopening, the Panda Plan is now available. In addition to a gift of original panda goods, the plan includes early check-in and late check-out for a maximum stay of 22 hours. Both the stay period and reservation period are from July 26 to August 31, and the room rate starts from 4,950 yen per person.
