JR East Japan Trading will release its second line of local Suica penguin goods, depicting Suica penguins along with famous summer festivals in Miyagi, Yamagata, and Fukushima prefectures.
The product will go on sale first at stores in Miyagi, Yamagata, and Fukushima prefectures on July 29, and will be available at TRAINIART stores and stores in the Tokyo metropolitan area on September 1.
The design motifs for this year’s lineup include the Sendai Tanabata Festival in Miyagi Prefecture, the Yamagata Hanagasa Festival in Yamagata Prefecture, and Soma Nomaoi in Fukushima Prefecture, and include a card case, key holder, and W-ticket file.
The Suica penguin key chain features a cute penguin blending into each locality and a traveler penguin in a trench coat on the reverse side. Priced at 660 yen.
Suica Penguin Card Case is an IC card case with a local penguin and a gradation plated background. Price: 880 yen.
The Suica Penguin W Ticket File has two pockets, one for tickets, one for stubs from destinations visited, etc., making it a useful file for travel. Price: 440 yen.
