Orange Page will release “Suica no Penguin Nori-Ben,” the third in a series of “Suica no Penguin ekiben,” at ekiben shops in the ticket gates of JR Tokyo Station and other locations on July 27. 20,000 units will be available in limited quantities, priced at 1,380 yen.
The lineup of side dishes includes fish sausage fried on the shore, salmon trout grilled with salt, fried chicken, and burdock root. It also comes with bonito furikake (dried bonito flakes) and an elastic lunch belt to hold the lid of the lunch box.
Since the first “Otona no Kodomo-sama Lunch” and the second “Spring Chirashi”, which went on sale last October, were inevitably sold out every time, the company recommends making advance reservations (by 3 pm three days prior to pickup date) through the “Net de Ekinaka” Web site. Reservations will be accepted from July 21.
Advance reservations can be made at Ekiben-ya Odori Grandsta Tokyo, Ekiben-ya Ueno Central Gate Branch, and Ekiben-ya Ting. The product will also be sold at the “Suica Summer Festival” event to be held at Tokyo Station from July 27 to 29.
