NEXCO West Japan Chugoku Branch is offering the “Iwami Tabi Drive Pass,” a discount plan exclusively for ETC vehicles, until February 29, 2024.
This is a special deal plan for expressways in the Iwami region of Shimane Prefecture, and includes round-trip fares from the designated departure and arrival areas to the Iwami Shuyu area, as well as driving fares within the Iwami Shuyu area.
The applicable areas are the Sanyo Expressway, Hiroshima-Iwakuni Road (Kawachi IC to Otake IC) or Hiroshima Expressway, and the Chugoku Expressway (Miyoshi Higashi IC to Muikkaichi IC), Hamada Expressway, and Gotsu Road. The Drive Pass is not valid from August 10 to 16 and from December 26 to January 4, 2024.
The fare is 3900 yen for a standard car and 3100 yen for a mini-car (including motorcycles) for two consecutive days. Applications must be made through the company’s website “MICHI-TAVI” prior to the start of expressway use, and are accepted up to the same date one month in advance.
