Tiger Thermos “Sea Crayon” collaboration bottle made of Earth colors taken from space.

Posted on 2023-08-152023-08-15 by Editor in Chief

Tiger Thermos will release the MCS-A50J vacuum insulated bottle (for cold storage only) in collaboration with “Sea Crayon” on August 21. This limited-quantity product will be available only at the Tiger Online Store and will be priced at 5,000 yen.

Sea Crayon” is a crayon made from the colors of the earth taken from space, marketed by SKY Perfect JSAT, the first Japanese private-sector satellite communications operator to launch a satellite. The lineup includes vacuum-insulated bottles featuring five of the 12 colors. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Republic of Kiribati, which is facing the crisis of rising sea levels.

A stainless steel straw is used for the drinking spout for hygienic use. The bottle does not need to be tilted when drinking, making it easier to drink. Compared to plastic straws, stains and odors are less likely to remain.

In addition, the lid, sheen, and sheen cover are coated with an antibacterial finish, and the inner surface is coated with Super Clean Plus. The unique spinning process also reduces the weight of the product. The lid is designed with an easy-to-open “loop-sen” with one hand, and the double-layered stainless steel vacuum construction keeps the temperature at the ready-to-drink level for approximately 6 hours or longer.
