Kita Osaka Kyuko Railway Announces Fares for Extension. Additional Fares for Extension Sections

Kita Osaka Kyuko Railway announced that fares have been approved for the Namboku Line extension, which is scheduled to open at the end of FY2023.

With the opening of the 2.5km route between Senri-Chuo Station and Mino-Kayano Station, the existing fares will be supplemented with “Section 4” for distances exceeding 6km but up to 8km, and “Section 5” for distances exceeding 8km but up to 10km. Regular passenger fares are 160 yen for the 4th section and 180 yen for the 5th section.

In addition, additional fares are available for passengers traveling within the extended section or between the extended section and the existing section. The regular passenger fare will be 60 yen, the commuter commuter pass fare (one month) will be 2,250 yen, and the student commuter pass fare (one month) will be 1,330 yen. For example, a one-way trip between Esaka Station and Minoh Kayano Station (8.4km) would cost 240 yen, which is the basic fare for the “5 wards” plus an additional fare.
