Mitsukoshi, celebrating its 350th anniversary, and Disney, celebrating its 100th anniversary, launched “Disney100 THE MARKET in Nihombashi Mitsukoshi Main Store” at the Nihombashi Mitsukoshi Main Store in Tokyo on August 9. In conjunction with the event, “~1957 Held in 1957 ‘Children’s Dreamland Fun Disneyland'” is also underway.
The venue is right next to “Disney100 THE MARKET in Nihombashi Mitsukoshi Honten”. After shopping, you can enjoy the panel exhibition of precious photos.
The photos shown to the public were taken in 1957 when the exhibition was held on the rooftop of Mitsukoshi Department Store in Nihonbashi from April 30 to June 2, 1957. Although the photos are in black and white, they capture the excitement and enthusiasm of the visitors.
