Feeling like an adventurer or explorer, the restaurant will offer “special courses” for “Disney Halloween” starting September 1, with dishes from around the world.
Magellan’s is one of Tokyo DisneySea’s most coveted restaurants. Named in honor of Magellan’s, an explorer from the Age of Discovery, the restaurant is decorated with ornaments from that era, creating a majestic atmosphere.
Seasonal salmon, Kue, Wagyu beef and plenty of autumn vegetables
The appetizer “Salmon Mignonette, Salmon Rillette and Cauliflower Brulee” is a dish of seasonal salmon prepared in two different ways. The sauce made with persimmon adds a seasonal touch. The aroma of the shiso leaves sprinkled around the salmon is also a delight to savor.
The fish dish is “Kue Vapeur with Vin Blanc Sauce and Americaine Sauce, Truffle-Scented Chrysanthemum Purée”. This dish is a combination of steamed Kue, a premium fish, and a white wine sauce that makes use of Ara.
The main course is “Roasted Wagyu Beef with Vin rouge Sauce, Beef Blanquette”. Red wine sauce is paired with roasted Wagyu beef. The accompanying tart is braised beef. Autumn flavors such as mushrooms, sweet potatoes, chestnuts and ginkgo nuts are also decorated.
Last is the dessert “Apple Compote and Yogurt Mousse with Bergamot. The apple form of the dessert is accented by the tartness of the bergamot cream, which gives depth to the whole dish.
The set includes coffee or tea and bread. This is the perfect course to enjoy the delicacies of autumn while relaxing and reminiscing about the Age of Discovery.
Since this is a popular restaurant, it is convenient to apply in advance for priority access to the restaurant through “Priority Seating” to use the restaurant.
