Hankyu Ferry offers 4-day Oita/Nagasaki Gastronomic Drive Pack. Deluxe Japanese/Western style room on board, one night hotel stay with evening breakfast.

Venus Travel, a member of the SHK Line Group, has begun offering a “4-day Oita/Nagasaki Gastronomic Drive Package” on the Hankyu Ferry. The package is available from October 1 to December 22 (return).

After sailing from Izumiotsu Port, Osaka, or Rokko Island Port, Kobe, Hyogo to Shin Moji Port, Fukuoka, enjoy a free drive and overnight stay at a hotel (dinner included).

The fare is 64,000 yen (for two persons), including round-trip boat ride (one car under 6 meters is allowed) and hotel accommodations. If the hotel stay is on a day before a holiday, an additional 4,000 yen is charged for two persons.

The cabins are deluxe Japanese/Western-style rooms that are completely private and offer private space, and the open-air bath on the 7th floor offers a starry night view of the Seto Inland Sea and illuminated bridges and cityscapes.

Upon arrival in Kyushu, guests can choose either “Housenso” (5-73 Aoyama-cho, Beppu City, Oita Prefecture) or “Hatashotei” (2520 Okubo-cho, Hirado City, Nagasaki Prefecture) as their hotel of choice. Hosen-so” offers the “Kira Course” for dinner, which includes both meat and fish, such as Oita’s famous Bungo beef steamed in hot water, steak, and five kinds of local fish.

Dinner at “Hatashotei” will be a kaiseki meal that changes with the seasons, with a special menu that includes Hirado’s famous thinly sliced flatfish and grilled abalone.

Applications are accepted from 2 persons, and reservations for 3 or more persons can be made for an additional fee. Reservations must be made by phone at least 14 days prior to the departure date, or a tentative reservation must be applied for on the website at least 7 days prior to the departure date.
