On August 16, MOUSSY launched the “Disney SERIES CREATED by MOUSSY” Disney100 OSWALD SPECIAL COLLECTION to celebrate Disney’s 100th anniversary.
The company will offer apparel featuring the popular Disney character Oswald, mainly in jacquard weave.
The new collection, “OSWALD JACQUARD SERIES,” features a total pattern using various expressions of Oswald and Ortensia. The delicate jacquard weave creates a high quality item.
The fabric is made from recycled yarn “Mecol Tone” and produced in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, the largest cotton textile production area in Japan and famous for its Banshuu weaving.
The “Coaching Jacket” is oversized and highly visible. The company has reproduced the original all-over pattern in domestically produced jacquard fabric. It is padded with cotton and has a silicon patch on the chest.
The drop-shoulder design gives it a roomy silhouette. The snap buttons make it easy to put on and take off.
There are also shopping bags and bucket hats. Like the jackets, they come with patches of real leather made in Japan, allowing them to age well. A luncheon mat will also be available.
Also available is a T-shirt with an Oswald design in the style of a sketch illustration. The bandanas are covered with selected designs from the “OSWALD JACQUARD SERIES”.
The “Knit Top” comes with a collar. Oswald’s oversized embroidered patch is sure to be the center of attention. It is oversized, so it can also be worn by unisex people. Available in white and pink.
The pop-up store is also being held at “Disney100 THE MARKET” at the main Mitsukoshi store in Nihonbashi until August 21.
