AKEEYO (慕晟) will release the Smart Ride Monitor (AIO-5 Lite), a display audio system for motorcycles that works with smartphones via Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, in September. The planned general sales price is 82,500 yen, but an early bird discount of 35% off will be offered through Makuake, a support purchase service.
It combines an IP67 waterproof and dustproof 7-inch display with front and rear cameras with a 150-degree field of view. It works with smartphone map and music apps, as well as a drive recorder, obstacle detection, parking monitoring, and tire pressure sensor (optional). The camera’s sensor is the dark-sensitive Sony STARVIS, which supports full HD recording.
