ANA and POLA will sell Cosmology, a skincare brand jointly developed by the two companies, at POLA stores nationwide and at duty-free corners in airports on October 1, and through the online store “ANA Shopping A-style” from October 12 and in-flight sales (reservation required) from November 1. In-flight sales (by reservation only) will also begin on November 1.
The brand has been developed under the theme of “solving global issues with space ideas,” and ANA has cooperated in research on the similarities between the space station and the environment inside an aircraft. It has been decided that the aircraft will actually be carried on board the International Space Station.
The cleansing wash and lotion cream are available, and both are designed to feel like a fresh drop of water to satisfy moisture needs on the space station, where water is limited. The cleansing wash reduces the amount of surfactants to reduce the burden on the skin without rinsing.
The ISS-equipped “Space Crew Kit,” which includes a 60g cleansing wash and 30g lotion cream, will be available from October 1 for 7,480 yen, and on January 1, 2024, single items will also be available: cleansing wash (120g) for 6,160 yen and lotion cream (50g) for 6,600 yen. The lotion cream (50 g) is priced at 6,600 yen.
