Extended duration! Disney Animation Immersive Experience”, an immersive experience in Disney’s films, will run until September 18

Disney Animation Immersive Experience,” currently on view at Mori Arts Center Gallery & Sky Gallery, has been extended through September 18.

It will open in North America in December 2022, and will run from April in Roppongi, Tokyo.

Japan is the first country where this event, created by Walt Disney Animation Studios and Lighthouse Immersive Studios, will tour overseas for the first time. The event will feature approximately 60 minutes of video content, a photo spot, and a photo spot of the ballroom scene from the original “Beauty and the Beast” movie in Japan. The exhibition of storyboards, special effects, backgrounds, and other materials introducing the animation production process is also a highlight of the event.

To commemorate the extension of the exhibition, visitors to the special store will receive an original A5 notebook with a purchase of 5,000 yen or more per bill starting September 1. Original postcards will also be offered to visitors after 5:00 p.m. on weekday evenings until August 31.

The store offers more than 200 different items, but the new August item, the “Balloon Stick” (825 yen), is especially recommended. Two designs are available: the “Fantasia” movie design and the “Beauty and the Beast” design. It should be fun to pose with the stick in hand at the photo spot.

In addition, “THE SUN & THE MOON” cafe on the 52nd floor of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower is currently offering a tie-up menu with Disney Plus. The menu includes “Magical Fruit Shaved Ice” (1,320 yen), perfect for summer, and “Flower Spice Curry” (1,500 yen), with its impressive plate decoration reminiscent of Rapunzel.

Weekday admission is 3600 yen for adults and college students, 2200 yen for junior high and high school students, and 1200 yen for elementary school students. Weekends and holidays are 3900 yen for adults and college students, 2500 yen for junior high and high school students, and 1500 yen for elementary school students. Tickets must be reserved in advance (by date and time).
