Park ticket price increase at Tokyo Disney Resort after October, when can I enter the park at the lowest price?

Posted on 2023-09-06 by Editor in Chief

Tokyo Disney Resort will revise the range of variable price points for park tickets on and after October 1.

Adult fares will range from 9,400 yen to 7,900 yen until September 30, but will be 10,900 yen to 7,900 yen from October 1 onward. In other words, the lowest fare will remain the same, but the highest fare will increase by an additional 1,500 yen.

Since park tickets are set in 500-yen increments, there are currently four levels of tickets: 9400 yen, 8900 yen, 8400 yen, and 7900 yen. Weekends and holidays are at the upper end of 9400 yen and 8900 yen, while weekdays and off-peak (weekdays) are at the lower end of 8400 yen and 7900 yen. The highest rates are mainly applied on Saturdays and the days before holidays (such as Sundays on Monday holidays).

The new rates starting October 1 will be six tiers, adding 10,900 yen and 9,900 yen, and the basic idea is that park tickets on Saturdays and the days before holidays will be 10,900 yen; date-specific rates through January 2024 have already been published (see separate listing), and in fact, all 14 Saturdays from Saturday, October 7, through January 6, 2024 ( In fact, all 14 Saturdays from October 7 (Sat.) through January 6 (Sat.), 2024, are priced at ¥10,900.

However, this impression may lead you to think that the days when you can enter the park for around 8,000 yen are no longer available. It is true that the price is generally higher in December, which includes Christmas and the end of the year, but when one looks at January, there are 17 days when the lowest price of 7,900 yen is available.

The table below shows the distribution of park ticket prices by month. By avoiding busy days and peak season, you should find that the current prices will not change significantly (+500 yen if they increase). It should also be noted that the fees for infants and elementary school students (4-11 years old) remain unchanged at 5,600 yen to 4,700 yen.

Incidentally, I mentioned earlier that park tickets are available in increments of 500 yen, but looking at the calendar, the new rates of 10,900 yen and 9,900 yen exist, but 10,300 yen is not set.

Monthly Park Ticket Price Distribution September 2023 October 2023 November 2023 December 2023 January 2024 7900 yen 0 0 0 0 17 8400 yen 20 7 7 0 0 8900 yen 4 8 12 15 1 9400 yen 6 8 2 7 5 9900 yen – 3 4 7 3 10900 yen – 5 5 8 5
