TRUNK held the grand opening of its boutique hotel “TRUNK (HOTEL) YOYOGI PARK” (1-15-2 Tomigaya, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) on September 1.

Located next to the lush greenery of Yoyogi Park, all 25 guest rooms have balconies. 4 types of rooms are available: “STANDARD” (20 rooms, 22-23m2 + terrace 7-8m2), “PARK VIEW SUITE” (4 rooms, 45m2 + terrace 16m2) facing Yoyogi Park, and the top floor 7th floor penthouse The “OWNER’S SUITE” (1 room, 65m2 + terrace 30m2) is located on the top floor, the 7th floor penthouse. Prices range from 60,000 to 230,000 yen.

Keiji Ashizawa participated in the architectural and interior design of the building, which blends in well with the cityscape and atmosphere of the Tomigaya area. In collaboration with Norm Architects, based in Copenhagen, Denmark, a Scandinavian modern style was also incorporated.

PIZZERIA e TRATTORIA L’OMBELICO, an all-day dining restaurant open not only to hotel guests but also to the general public, has opened in the building. It offers authentic pizza baked in a wood-fired oven, dishes made with seasonal ingredients, and natural wines. Facing Inokashira-dori Avenue, some terrace seats are pet-friendly.

The rooftop overlooking Yoyogi Park features TRUNK (POOL CLUB), a lounge with an infinity pool for guests only. After relaxing in the heated pool, Jacuzzi, or fire pit, guests can enjoy fresh seafood such as oysters and a wide variety of drinks.
