News Technology and S.RIDE began running the “Hometown Specialty Taxis” on September 4, limited to 100 vehicles in Tokyo, as the fourth installment of the Gift Taxi Project, in which users receive gifts for a limited time.
The “THE TOKYO MOBILITY GALLERY Canvas” mobility car window media, which projects advertisements onto cab windows, is used, and the “Furusato Meisho Taxi” advertisement displayed on the rear left windowpane is used as a guide to the target vehicles.
In addition to learning about the attractions of a total of six municipalities on board, passengers can enter a campaign to win hometown tax returns through tablet terminals.
