JAL has decided to add the Hawaii and Guam routes and some East Asia routes after December, which had been announced as under adjustment in the international route flight plan for the second half of FY2023.
On the Hawaii route, the Narita-Kona route will operate three times a week during the year-end and New Year holidays. This will bring the total number of flights between Japan and Hawaii to 33 per week, including flights to/from Haneda (14 flights per week), Narita (7 flights per week), Kansai (5 flights per week), and Honolulu (4 flights per week).
In addition, flights between Narita and Guam will be increased from four flights per week to daily during the year-end and New Year holidays.
In addition, taking into account strong inbound demand from Japan due to the weak yen and other factors, the number of flights on the Narita – Hong Kong route will be increased from five to seven per week (October 29 – December 27). The number of flights on the Narita – Taoyuan (Taipei) route will be increased from seven to 14 per week (October 29-November 30).
In addition, the Kansai International Airport – Taoyuan route will be operated seasonally with four flights per week (October 29 – January 8, 2024).
