Tiana’s Palace, which recreates the dream of Tiana, the main character in the movie “The Princess and the Magical Kiss,” opened in Disneyland Park at the California Disneyland Resort.
The quick-service restaurant format offers authentic cuisine unique to New Orleans, the film’s setting.
The facility is located in New Orleans Square and is evolving daily into an area where visitors can enjoy the world of the movie, with a new attraction, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, opening in 2024.
Tiana’s Palace offers New Orleans specialties such as House Gumbo ($16.99) and Cajun Spiced Half Chicken ($19.49), which is a hearty Cajun chicken dish. Some of the ingredients are purchased directly from Louisiana, allowing diners to enjoy the local flavors of the season while still in the park.
The décor and decor of the restaurant is reminiscent of the world of the movie, and you can even find props related to Tiana’s story. A large mural of a bayou, frog ceramics, Tiana’s collection of cookbooks, and her father’s favorite gumbo spoon are just a few of the highlights.
In addition, the famous Mickey-shaped beignets in New Orleans Square and the Mint Julep Bar, which serves mint juleps that everyone who visits the park is said to have tasted at least once, will be reopened. Fans will not be able to resist visiting!
