W (W) Hotels, the hotel brand of Marriott International, opened the W Macau Studio City on September 8.
The facility was designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. The design is said to express Macau’s unique fusion of Eastern and Western cultures, history, and natural beauty in a modern way, with careful attention to detail.
There are a total of 557 guest rooms, including 127 suites. All rooms are equipped with Bluetooth sound systems, and guests can enjoy their favorite playlists while making drinks at the in-room W Mix Bar.
In addition, the two-bedroom Extreme WOW Suite (the W’s premier suite) on the 38th floor offers 270-degree views through large floor-to-ceiling windows. In addition, it has a spacious dining area with a circular bed and a kitchenette with Portuguese ceramic tiles.
The resort offers four restaurants and bars, including the all-day coffee and cocktail bar “Living Room,” where guests can enjoy cocktails and coffee along with pastries and baked goods influenced by Chinese and Portuguese food culture. The DIVA restaurant on the 40th floor offers contemporary Cantonese cuisine and teejus (tea-infused cocktails) in an art deco-style setting.
