Good Glass Japan, an Aiwa Industries company, will release “Winnie the Pooh” Double Wall Glass (4,730 yen). The gimmick is that Pooh’s expression appears when a drink is poured into the glass. There are two types of expressions.
Pre-orders are currently being accepted at “Disney 100 The Style Collection Harajuku｜Shibuya” at Laforet Harajuku in Harajuku, Tokyo. General sales will begin on October 10. The shipment is scheduled to be at the end of November.
All the pieces are handmade and include the beauty of glass craftsmanship. The material is borosilicate glass. It is heat resistant from -20 to 120 degrees Celsius. The capacity is 220 mL (individual differences due to the handmade nature of the product).
Also on sale at the same time is the “Winnie the Pooh” Glass My Straw (3,300 yen), which can continue to be used in an eco-friendly manner. These straws are also made of borosilicate glass and are all handmade. The straws have a soft, comfortable feel that only glass can provide.
It measures approximately 22 cm in length and 1.3 cm in diameter, and comes in a silicone case with a brush for cleaning. Two different expressions are also available.
