JR Tokai Passengers will release blankets for children featuring the N700S train and the Type 923 Doctor Yellow at 10:00 a.m. on September 29 at JRCP Online Shop, the official online shopping site for Tokaido Shinkansen goods.
The “Shinkansen Blanket (N700S)” (3,850 yen) comes in a 140 cm size, and the “Shinkansen Blanket (Type 923 Doctor Yellow)” (3,650 yen) in a 120 cm size. Each blanket comes with a hood to keep your head warm.
When worn as a cloak and buttoned at the arms, both hands can be used freely as if the sleeves were open, and a blanket can be stored inside the hood as a cushion.
