Tokyo Disney Resort offers a wide range of dining options, from light meals such as hot dogs and pizzas, to courses and rice menus at the restaurants. Many of you are probably thinking, “What should I eat this time? and many people check out the dishes they are interested in even before visiting the parks.
If so, how about the Japanese restaurant Restaurant Hokusai, whose “special meal,” available from October 1, is the talk of the town right now?
The “Special Set” includes a bowl of rice topped with roast beef, miso soup, a small bowl of cooked food, steamed egg custard, and apple water buns. In fact, this roast beef rice bowl is inspired by the image of “Akafuji” (Red Fuji)! It is a perfect dish to celebrate the 40th anniversary year of Tokyo Disney Resort.
As you can see from the name “Hokusai” in the restaurant name, it was inspired by Hokusai Katsushika’s ukiyoe painting “Red Fuji. At the foot of the mountain of roast beef with just the right amount of redness are seasonal vegetables. This also represents the sea of trees that surrounds the mountain. The addition of yuzu kosho (Japanese citrus pepper) to the Japanese sauce allows you to enjoy a change of taste.
Priority Seating is available for restaurant visits. Make reservations in advance via the app or on the web, and don’t forget to get ready to feast on thick roast beef this fall/winter while enjoying a good view of Akafuji.
