Tokyo DisneySea is currently holding “Dream Go Round” to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Tokyo Disney Resort, and “Disney Halloween” is being held at the same time until October 31. Let us introduce you to the Waterfront Park, which is filled with a mysterious atmosphere unique to Halloween both day and night.
Especially at night, it becomes a photogenic space overflowing with a Halloween-like atmosphere. The lights at the entrance glow brightly, and there are times when smoke wafts in the air as if to add to the atmosphere. At night, each jack-o’-lantern glows spectacularly, changing the atmosphere from daytime to nighttime. If you visit in a Villains costume, be sure to enjoy taking pictures in this bewitching atmosphere.
The New York area of the American Waterfront is the central area for Disney Halloween. In particular, the plaza “Waterfront Park” located in front of the Tower of Terror is filled with jack-o’-lanterns and a Halloween atmosphere.
Food trucks will appear to celebrate the 40th anniversary! At night, the entire plaza takes on the atmosphere of a bar!
Sales period: September 15, 2023 – March 31, 2024
Although not a Halloween-only menu, the “food trucks” at Waterfront Park began selling at the same time. The food truck on the left (red) offers six kinds of drinks, while the food truck on the right (blue) sells sweets.
The park is lined with barrels all day long and tables for standing and drinking. At night, the lanterns above the barrels are lit, creating an outstanding atmosphere as if the entire plaza were a bar. The atmosphere is so inviting that you can’t help but reach for an alcoholic beverage.
The Iced Fruit Tea, filled with cold fruit, is available in two varieties: Mixed Fruit and Berry & Peach, each for 900 yen. This luxurious drink contains plenty of cut fruits in a black tea base, and has a refreshing taste that makes the most of the flavors of the ingredients. The drink contains more fruit than it appears, as it contains cold fruit instead of ice, making it a very satisfying drink.
Two types of fruit wine, red and white, are also available. Fruit White Wine (mixed fruit)” and “Fruit Red Wine (berry & peach)” are available for 1,200 yen each. These wines are also very drinkable, using white and red wines as the base, and are refreshing wines filled with cut fruits. The “Fruit White Wine (Mixed Fruits)” in particular contains whole cold mandarin oranges, which have such a presence that one almost forgets that they are wine.
In addition, “Hot Sangria” is also on the lineup, as it will continue to be sold during the winter months. These are also available in “white” and “red,” and can also be enjoyed for 1,200 yen each. Hot Sangria is also full of fruit and has a sweet and spicy flavor. The flavor is sure to warm you up during the cold season and is likely to be popular in winter.
The “Baked Dolce (Marron & Cassis)” (900 yen per piece), sold at the food truck on the right, is a rich sweet with plenty of chestnut and cassis sauce, fromage cream, and crispy amaretti on top of sponge dough. It goes well with the refreshing drinks sold at the food truck and is as rich as alcohol. It is definitely worth enjoying as a set.
