Atami “Hotel New Akao”, one-day hot spring plan with buffet lunch featuring seafood and Japanese black beef, 4,950 yen per person

Posted on 2023-10-172023-10-17 by Editor in Chief

Hotel New Akao (1993-65, Atami, Shizuoka Prefecture) is offering a “One-day Onsen Plan with Lunch” through December 28, which includes a half-buffet lunch at the “Main Dining Nishiki” and a one-day hot spring spa.

Main Dining Nishiki, located in the Ocean Wing building, is a huge fan-shaped theater restaurant that is rare in Japan. In this luxurious and gorgeous space with a retro Showa-era feel, you can enjoy dishes using local seasonal ingredients while gazing at the powerful ocean view of Nishikigaura stretching out before you.

The plan features a half buffet with a choice of four main dishes, including “Minami Tuna Donburi” and “Kuroge Wagyu Original Hamburger Steak,” as well as all-you-can-eat salads, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts.

After lunch, guests can use the natural hot spring baths located at three different locations in the hotel. Each bath is made from a different source of hot spring water, and is popular for its skin-softening properties, as it is rich in minerals from the sea and is highly effective in retaining heat and moisture. In particular, the “Sparium Nishiki,” a large bath with the most spectacular view in the hotel, offers an infinity hot spring bath that makes you feel as if you are one with the ocean.

After taking a bath, guests can take a rest at the Royal Lounge in the Horizon Wing building. Free soft drinks are also available.

Plan prices are 4950 yen for adults, 2200 yen for elementary school students, and 1100 yen for preschool children on weekdays, and 5500 yen for adults, 2750 yen for elementary school students, and 1650 yen for preschool children on holidays. Atami residents receive an additional 500 yen discount.
