JICA President Akihiko Tanaka met with Philip Lazzarini, Executive Director of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), at JICA headquarters on October 4.
At the beginning of the meeting, President Tanaka expressed his appreciation for the continued cooperation between UNRWA and JICA.
In response, Secretary General Razalini expressed his desire to further deepen cooperation between the two sides amidst a situation where the refugee problem in Palestine has been protracted for more than 70 years.
