On October 16, UGREEN released the PowerRoam 2200, a portable power supply with casters. It is priced at 269,800 yen.
The battery capacity is 2048 Wh with a maximum instantaneous output of 3000 W. It can be used in conjunction with an expansion battery (EB2000) scheduled for release in November, bringing the total to 12,288 Wh when five units are added.
In addition, the unique “PowerZip” recharging technology enables full recharging in 1.7 hours. In addition, the solar charging technology maintains output in cloudy weather, etc. When used with the SC100 and SC200 solar panels (sold separately), the battery can be fully charged in as fast as 2.5 hours. Continuous power supply is also possible.
The battery is made of new-generation 26650 lithium iron phosphate, jointly developed with Chinese automaker BYD. It has achieved a long service life of more than 3,000 charge-discharge cycles. In addition to the safety standards for electric vehicles, the battery is equipped with an emergency stop function that stops charging and discharging in the event of high temperature, short circuit, or overvoltage, among other safety measures.
A total of 16 ports are provided for output: AC (x6), USB Type-A (x2), USB Type-C (x4), DC5521 (x2), cigarette socket (x1), and Anderson (x1). The rated output is 2000 W and supports both 50/60 Hz power frequencies; the four equipped USB Type-C ports support up to 140 W PD output, so they can also be used as PC power supplies.
In addition, the dedicated “UGREEN” app (Android/iOS version) allows users to check battery level and charge/discharge status. Connectivity is available via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, which can be seamlessly switched for indoor or outdoor use.
A campaign to celebrate the launch will be held from October 16 to October 31 at 23:59. The product can be purchased at a 25% discount of 202,350 yen from the purchase page.
