LINE Yahoo! Search and Yahoo! Maps (Android/iOS versions) have started offering a feature that allows users to check information on autumn foliage spots in approximately 700 locations nationwide.

Search” displays information on autumn foliage spots nationwide by searching for keywords related to autumn foliage. The information is updated twice a day and displays the current color change status in five levels: “green leaves,” “beginning of color change,” “autumn foliage at its peak,” “beginning to fade,” and “falling leaves. In addition, by searching with the name of a prefecture or other place, information on autumn foliage spots in the surrounding area can be confirmed.

Maps” has launched “Map of Autumn Foliage 2023,” which allows users to check autumn foliage spots on a map. The map shows photos of autumn foliage spots, their names, the best time to view the leaves each year, and descriptions. In addition to displaying the changing color of autumn leaves in five levels, users can narrow down the list to only “Beginning of changing color” and “Best time to view autumn leaves” by tapping the “Currently viewing” button. The site also supports route searches, so you can check the route and time required to get to the spot in question.

In addition, “Show Onsen” and “Show Roadside Stations” buttons have been added to the top of the screen. You can also search for hot springs and roadside stations as spots to stop by when going to see the autumn leaves.
