Collaboration watch between Honda Type R and EDIFICE. Traditional ivory white and crimson emblem.

Posted on 2023-10-25 by Editor in Chief

Casio Computer will release a new EDIFICE product, the EDIFICE Honda TYPE R Edition “ECB-2200HTR” on November 10, 2012, in collaboration with the Honda TYPE R, which pursues the ultimate sports car.

Prior to this, the company will begin accepting reservations on November 1. The price is 55,000 yen.

The TYPE R is the highest grade of sports model developed with Honda’s traditional racing technology, and the traditional ivory white color “Championship White” for the F1 challenge and the crimson emblem “Red Badge” inherited from the F1 car “RA272” that won the first Mexican Grand Prix in 1965 are designed only for the TYPE R. The crimson emblem “red badge” inherited from the F1 car “RA272” that won the first Mexican Grand Prix in 1965 is designed only for the TYPE R.

The new “ECB-2200HTR” expresses the image of the TYPE R through its colors and materials. The outer ring of the dial is painted with authentic “championship white” paint, and a red badge faithfully reproducing the three-dimensional shape and color is laid out on the 12 o’clock side. Furthermore, the white-colored genuine leather band is printed with the type numbers of all previous TYPE R models.

TYPE R” is engraved on the metal, the ring, and the caseback, “HONDA” on the D-buckle, and the “R” mark on the stopwatch measurement button. To enhance wearability, a D-buckle is used for the clasp, and the back of the band is made of Alcantara, the same material used for the TYPE R cars.
