Disney Christmas at Magellan’s, the restaurant of your dreams! Think back to the Age of Discovery with a sumptuous menu of spices & wines!

Magellan’s is a must-visit restaurant at Tokyo DisneySea. Named in honor of Magellan, an adventurer during the Age of Discovery, Magellan’s is a popular restaurant where you can enjoy a meal as if you were transported back in time with the decorations of the era.

Magellan’s, which offers gastronomic delights from around the world and a wide selection of wines, will begin offering a “Pecial Course with Paired Wines” (21,000 yen) in conjunction with the special “Disney Christmas” event starting November 8.

This course includes the “spices” that led the development of trade during the Age of Discovery, which is closely associated with Magellan, and the best wine to go with the dishes.

The amuse started with “Snow crab and celery arc mousse with caviar” of crab and caviar. The “Rotari Brut Rosé (Rotari) Sparkling Wine” was first served at the table to complement the flavors of the “Tuna Mignon and Chicken Breast with Herbs”.

For “Braised White Beans with Duck and Beef,” we had Lucazitelli Orange Wine (Stoli Marani). For the “Baked Flatfish in Pie Wrapper with Funouille Sauce,” we had the “White Wine M3 Chardonnay (Shaw & Smith).

The “Black Wagyu Beef Gruyere with Perigueux Sauce” is served with “Red Wine Imperial Reserva (Cune),” and each dish can be paired with a different wine for a more profound flavor experience.

For dessert, the “Buche de Noel with Mascarpone Ice Cream and Strawberry Sauce with Cardamom Mignardises” is the main dish, a unique Christmas treat. It is a great way to celebrate Christmas in a quiet restaurant with spicy courses and the best wines, feeling like the Age of Discovery.

Don’t forget to ask for Priority Seating, as this is a popular restaurant.
