Central Japan Exis Ichinomiya/Gifu Branch and Nihon Kanko Kaihatsu will hold a grand opening of Yoro SA (uphill) on the Meishin Expressway at 8:00 a.m. on October 27.
Renovation work began in January, with the food court opening in March and the shopping corner opening in stages in July. The grand opening will be celebrated with the completion of the take-out corner.
The take-out corner offers a wide selection of casual fare such as “deep-fried odamaki,” a familiar dish in Ogaki City, and the standard “takoyaki” takoyaki. Visitors can also enjoy local delicacies such as a Hida beef bento box containing plenty of Hida beef and “persimmon soft serve ice cream,” a local delicacy named after Gifu Prefecture, which is said to be the birthplace of the Fuyu persimmon and one of the largest persimmon producing areas in the country.
In addition, a Gara-pon lottery will be held from 10:00 to 17:00 each day from October 27 to 29. The first 300 customers to purchase 2,000 yen or more (combined purchases are acceptable) at each store on each day will be eligible to participate.
