Yamashita Park Street Association will hold an illumination event “Illumine Yokohama 2023 – Yokohama’s Future Shines” in Yamashita Park, Yokohama. The event will run from December 1 to 31, and admission is free.
Mikiko Ishii, a pioneer of Japanese light-up culture, and Paris-based father and son, Akari and Leisa Ishii, will collaborate on light artwork and sound. Hours will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:05 p.m. from December 1 to 30, and from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. on December 31, with an evening countdown event.
From November 27 to January 4, “Yokohama Yolnoyo 2023: Lights Revealed at Night” will be held in the waterfront area of central Yokohama.
