JR East will add Sendai, Morioka, Niigata, and Nagano stations as departure stations for the “Somewhere in Boon! The company will begin accepting applications on December 1, and the service will be available after December 7.
The “Somewhere to Boon! is a product that allows passengers to make a round-trip trip with 6,000 JRE POINT to any one of four randomly selected destinations (Shinkansen stations), starting from Tokyo Station, Ueno Station, or Omiya Station.
However, for departures from Sendai, Morioka, Niigata, and Nagaoka stations, which will be added this time, the number of points required will be 5,000.
Applications can be made from 21 days to 6 days prior to the departure date, and the destination will be confirmed within 3 days of the application. The minimum stay for a day trip is 5 hours and the maximum stay is 7 days. Round-trip travel is available with a reserved seat on a standard-sized car.
