Oriental Land Co. announced the grand opening of its eighth new theme port, Fantasy Springs, at Tokyo DisneySea on June 6, 2024.
To coincide with the announcement, a documentary video showing the construction process of Fantasy Springs, taken from above the new area, is being released.
The video shows the familiar parking lot of the Tokyo Disney Resort, the land being cleared, steel frames being erected one after another, and the lush green theme port being born.
The new theme port will consist of three areas and one hotel based on Disney films under the theme of “The Magical Fountain Leads to the World of Disney Fantasy.
Frozen Kingdom” themed on the movie “Anna and the Snow Queen,” “Peter Pan’s Neverland” themed on the movie “Peter Pan,” and “Rapunzel’s Forest” from the movie “Rapunzel in the Tower. In addition, visitors can enjoy a new Disney hotel, the Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel.
A “Standby Pass” (free of charge) or “Disney Premier Access” (charged) is required to enter Fantasy Springs and use the applicable attractions in Fantasy Springs. Three attractions in Fantasy Springs are eligible for Disney Premier Access.
