Toyama Prefecture has announced January 29, 2024 as the start date for sales of travel products for the Kurobe-Unazuki Canyon Route, which connects the Kurobe Gorge from Zelkova Plain to Kurobe Dam. The opening date for the public has already been announced as June 30, which means that applications can be made approximately five months in advance.
All four courses depart from or arrive at Unazuki Station, with Kurobe Dam, Murodo, Omachi Onsenkyo, and Tateyama on the other side. Kurobe Dam, Murodo, Omachi Onsenkyo, and Tateyama are the other departure and arrival points.
At the same time, the company also announced the estimated sales price of the basic course. The price for the route starting from Unazuki Station via the Canyon Route and staying overnight in Murodo was estimated to be about 130,000 yen, including hotel, meals, and Kurobe Gorge Railway fare.
The company plans to promote the above routes at national sales promotion meetings for the “Hokuriku Destination Campaign” and promote the setting up of tours to travel agencies.
