Quarterly Air Travel vol. 47, featuring “Flagship Ride Studies,” focusing on the 787 and A350

Posted on 2023-11-02 by Editor in Chief

On October 30, Ikaros Shuppan released “Air Travel vol. 47 (2023 AUTUMN),” an A4-size, 128-page book priced at 1,870 yen.

The first feature, “Flagship Comfort Research,” focuses on the Boeing 787 and Airbus A350, which are the mainstay aircraft of not only JAL and ANA in Japan but also other major airlines around the world, mainly for long-haul international flights. As the main content of “Air Travel” is to “enjoy air travel” including airline services, the magazine focuses on the comfort of each aircraft, and includes articles on actual flight experiences of EVA Air of Taiwan and Vietnam Airlines, etc., as well as many other projects that allow you to become familiar with the 787 and A350. In addition, there are many other projects that allow readers to become familiar with the 787 and A350.

The second feature is “Enjoying Post-Corona Airports!” The second feature article is “Enjoying the Airport Post-Corona! It focuses on airports that have regained vitality with the resurgence of air traffic after the Corona disaster, and introduces the latest topics at Haneda Airport’s Terminal 2 international facilities, which recently reopened, as well as at Narita, Kansai International Airport, Fukuoka, and other airports in Japan. In addition, since airports these days are not just places for boarding and disembarking planes, but also have an increasing number of “fun” elements, the report suggests ways to enjoy airports as destinations for travelers. It might be a good idea to visit an airport for a little leisure time on weekends.

Included as a special supplement is a 2024 calendar with photos selected with a special focus on the smiling faces of the flight crew, starting in November 2023, so it can be used immediately.
