Jetstar to Launch Three Weekly Roundtrips from Kansai International Airport to Sydney on April 1, 2024. One-way sales from 29,999 yen.

Jetstar Japan will operate direct flights between Kansai International Airport (KIX) and Sydney, Australia, with three round-trip flights per week from April 1, 2024.

It is the only low-cost carrier (LCC) between the two cities and operates a Boeing 787 aircraft with 21 business class seats and 314 economy class seats.

Fares (one-way) start at 36,500 yen for economy class and 111,500 yen for business class.

To commemorate the opening of the new flights, “Fly Fly Fly Australia” is being held on all five Japan-Australia routes (Kansai – Sydney, Brisbane, and Cairns; Narita – Brisbane and Cairns)! Osaka (Kansai) = Sydney Commemorative Sale” is being held on all five Japan-Australia routes (Kansai – Sydney, Brisbane and Cairns; Narita – Brisbane and Cairns). One-way economy class fares on the Kansai – Sydney route will start at 29,999 yen for Club Jetstar members and 31,999 yen for the general public (all prices exclude taxes). No fuel surcharge is required, but airport fees and taxes will be added.
