Ginza Onderella, operated by ONODERA Food Service, will open Kaiten Sushi Ginza Onderella Hawaii (2700 S King St,Honolulu HI 96826) in February 2024, the first overseas store of the conveyor-belt sushi business.
Located on King Street, one of the main streets in Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii, and known as a gourmet street for locals and tourists, the restaurant will have a total of 84 seats (18 counter seats / 11 tables for 6 people).
The Hawaii branch will also use tuna directly shipped from the Toyosu Market by Toyosu middle wholesaler Yamayako, and like the “Kaitenzushi Ginza Onodera Honten” in Japan and the second Kyoto branch opened in July of this year, will offer authentic Edomae-style sushi in an easy-to-access conveyor-belt sushi restaurant. The restaurant also plans to offer a “Hawaii only menu” that makes use of local ingredients.
The restaurant has a waiting bar where customers can enjoy drinks while waiting. The interior design is inspired by Hawaiian waves, the ocean, and fish-collecting lights.
