And while I’m at it, let me introduce the return trip. This time I flew “Delta Premium Select” for both roundtrips, and on the return flight I had a front row seat. Instead of not being able to put my luggage under the seat in front of me, I had even more legroom and space! I was able to stay well awake and watch several movies to avoid jet lag after returning home. One last little tidbit. Did you know that Delta’s Fly Delta app, which allows you to check in online in advance, has a feature called “Track Bags” that tracks where your checked luggage is now? I checked it while using the lounge at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport and was relieved to find that it was safely loaded onto flight DL181. This feature seems to be a useful service in the U.S. mainland, where there are many connections. From the next article onward, I will introduce the hotel where we stayed and give you the latest information on Hawaii.
