Michinoku Coca-Cola Bottling has resumed accepting factory tours at its Hanamaki Plant (200-1, Ota 29th lot, Hanamaki-shi, Iwate Prefecture), which it operates, and began accepting reservations today.
Tours are by appointment only (phone only) and will be conducted on the 2nd/4th Thursday of each month.
This will be the first time in three years that the plant will be open to visitors, as it has been closed since 2020 to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. The company claims that the tours will allow visitors to “feel more familiar with Coca-Cola products, including Coca-Cola and Irohasu, which are made using local water.
