Tokyo Disney Resort’s new “Imagining the Magic” exhibit features items perfect for camera enthusiasts!

Posted on 2023-12-012023-12-14 by Editor in Chief

Tokyo Disney Resort is currently developing “Imagining the Magic,” a photography project to capture the “magical moments” at the parks. To commemorate the park’s 40th anniversary, the project will feature three different items and works by photographer and film director Yoshiyuki Okuyama, each of which will be available for purchase.

The second series of items to be released on December 7 will include many items that will appeal to camera enthusiasts and those who are interested in film cameras. Let’s check them out right away!

The “case for film with lens” (1,100 yen each) has a design of a scene from the park on the front and a scene beyond looking through the lens on the back.

Two designs, one for Tokyo Disneyland and one for Tokyo DisneySea. You can use them not only to decorate your film camera, but also as interior decorations.

The “Memo” (700 yen), with a design reminiscent of a Polaroid photo, is an item with a different photo designed each time you turn it over. It is exciting to use it, and it should be fun to choose which photo to write down each time.

The nostalgic negative film-style “key chain set” (2,800 yen) is designed so that when the film is pulled out, a newly taken photo comes out. For those who used to use film, this set has a nostalgic feel that makes you think, “Oh yeah! for those who used to mainly use film. Turning the bottom cock to store the film camera is also a common feature of film cameras.

If you have a serious camera, you may want to proudly assert your love of Disney with the “Camera Strap” (2,400 yen)! The strap is designed in the style of negative film with plenty of photos. The design is a mix of memorable park scenes as well as characters.

The “Slide Zip Case” (individual items 700 yen each, set 8400 yen) is a convenient slide zip case for storing SD memory cards and other small items. With a ball chain, it can be attached to a bag. The back and front have different designs. The design is a surprise only after you open the case; if you purchase the set of 12 cases, you will get all the designs.
