On December 4, Hyatt Hotels Corporation held a preview and business strategy presentation for Hotel Toranomon Hills, which is scheduled to open in two days. David Udell, Group President of Hyatt Asia Pacific, Karina Kohlenger, Senior Vice President of Commercial, and Masahiko Sakamura, President of Hyatt Japan, took the stage to explain the business strategy.
David Udell opened his remarks by noting that he was the first General Manager of Park Hyatt Tokyo, and said, “It means a lot to be back in Tokyo, in Japan, and it means a lot for us to grow in the great country of Japan. He said that Hyatt’s growth is guided by “people,” and by people he meant guests, staff, owners, and community, each of which is committed to doing their best. For hotels, the company is committed to developing high quality developments that meet the needs of all high-end visitors seeking unique experiences, including travelers, business travelers, event planners, and guests. He also introduced the soon-to-open Hotel Toranomon Hills as a major attraction with its new restaurant, Le Pristine Tokyo, created in collaboration with the very famous European chef Sergio Herman.
