BLISSTIA Hakone Sengokuhara” opened on December 25. 63 rooms including guest rooms with open-air baths

Posted on 2023-12-08 by Editor in Chief

Sankei Building and Tokyu Land Corporation will open BLISSTIA Hakone Sengokuhara (29-1, Sengokuhara, Hakone-cho, Ashigarashita-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture) on December 25.

The facility is Japan’s first hotel condominium (38 rooms) and hotel residence (25 rooms) combined. Located in the Sengokuhara area, which can be accessed in about 1.5 hours from central Tokyo, there are many tourist attractions within walking distance, including the Hakone Glass Forest Museum.

A total of 63 guest rooms with suite specifications offer a variety of plans, including rooms with a half-open-air hot spring bath and premium types exceeding 80 m2, while the hotel residences have bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry facilities for long-term stays.

In addition to artwork inspired by ears of silver grass and supervised by the Sculpture Forest Museum, guests can enjoy a fireplace where they can relax, and a terrace where they can enjoy the changing seasons in Hakone and Sengokuhara.

In addition, solar panels and electric vehicle charging stations have been installed as part of efforts to reduce environmental impact.
