JAL Brand Communication released “JAL LifeVest Tote Bag” and “JAL LifeVest Shoulder Bag”. They will be handled through the mail-order site “JAL Mall” and other channels.
Since approximately 2,000 life vests installed on JAL aircraft are discarded each year due to periodic replacement, these vests have been reused and commercialized. This is the third in the series.
The tote bag is approximately 33 cm wide and features a design where the word “life jacket” appears on the outside pocket. It is priced at 13,200 yen and limited to 800 pieces. The shoulder bag is functional and can be packed small. This one is priced at 11,000 yen and limited to 500 pieces.
